Onychomycosis

Our nails are affected by various germs, including fungi. Onychomycosis is usually caused by a type of fungus, dermatophytes or various bacteria and is contagious. The nails change color, break, become thick, change shape, either superficially or internally, or even come off. It is caused by germs that we step on when we are barefoot in an unclean environment.
